It’s with great sadness that we say farewell to our friend Pete Boddy, a long-time Chorus member, who passed away on 2 November 2023 at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital at the age of 78.
Pete was a beloved father, husband to Liz (pictured beside him at the annual barbershop convention), grandfather and great-grandfather, friend to many, and a much-respected figure in his community. During the COVID pandemic Pete’s community spirit was caught on camera for our Lean On Me video, volunteering at a local vaccination centre.
Not only was Pete a stalwart of our Bass section, with a resonant voice, but he also served on the FCC committee, managed the wardrobe – and this website – and was often our official photographer if he wasn’t singing!
